Okay, I've tracked down the original author of the Battle of Troy map on several sites and organizations, most of which are abandoned, discontinued forums. So in the end, I sent a message to the author (Eternity_Sheild) on the Hive Workshop, but as his last recorded activity was a couple of years ago, I'm not optimistic about a response.
Therefore, reluctantly, because I'm only human and I want my map to flourish, I shall continue my map even without the permission of the original author. Knowing how things go in life, his account probably got hacked or else he'd changed to a new account, and that will mean it's close to impossible for me to track him down.
This is a pretty pathetic excuse - LOL! - but one of the ways I justify this is that the editors of the incredible map DotA never sought the permission of the original creator either until later on when it became famous worldwide. :D
I'll be uploading The Battle of Troy! v1.3 soon, just working on some bugs and trying to think up of some new, creative skills. :)
Yours truly,
